Faith In the Night

This morning's theme is 'faith in the night.' We hear the story of Jacob returning home. He is afraid to meet his brother Esau again after the trickery of the last time they were together. Jacob ends up wrestling a blessing from God in the night; which gives way to reconciliation with Esau in the morning. Jacob's story reminds us that there is blessing in holding on to God, who always holds on to us, first.
