United Methodists are a church community actively seeking to respond in thanksgiving for the grace and peace that God has given us in Jesus Christ, and to offer it to all we meet. We exist in and for the created world, and understand that the dividedness of both our church and our world is a hindrance to our calling. We strive to be a place of open community – “Open Hearts, Open Doors, Open Minds” – ever mindful that we are open to God’s way of love and justice. Therefore, we are also sent to our community and the world.
