Helping Hands.

We get involved.  We serve by helping who and where the need is.

God's Garden

Church members grow food in our Church garden and donate the produce to the local Food Bank and to the Community Kitchen.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Is our special way to reach out to special people with love by knitting or crocheting a shawl; blessing not only the receiver, but the crafter as well.

Community Kitchen

SUMC participates in nourishing those who need a good meal by preparing and serving dinner at St. John’s Episcopal Church the 4th Monday of each month.

Special Events

It's Christmas time and the local food bank needs help in gathering items for the Christmas family meal baskets.  Or maybe it's Easter and the cupboards are bare.  When called, we answer, that's why we are 100% involved.  By action, deed or prayer.
